I’m feeling a bit greedy this morning getting set for a road trip to Albuqurque. After my workshop in Italy with a quick stop in Paris beforehand, I have enough inspiration and material to keep me painting for years to come. So my road trip which will take in some of the West’s most beautiful treasures seems a bit of a splurge. On the route; Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, the Grand Canyon and heading home via Monterey, CA. So with painting gear packed, I will be busy!
Before I load my easel into the car, I wanted to share a bit of what I’ll be doing at IAPS. I’m doing two presentations; Navigating Your Trouble Zones and Poems, Not Novels. I did a little piece today that I thought was a nice example for Poems, Not Novels. I think this was was simple and fluid. I believe it says a lot with a little which is something I’m always striving to achieve in my work.
With Warmest Regards,
Marla
